If you are in Florence in the next few weeks you can see this interesting and different display of photography in the Palazzo Medici (the exhibit is free and in the space that runs between via Cavour and via de Genori - not in the Palazzo itself). This show was at Ben Brown Fine Arts in London this past fall and is on display until January 24th, from 9 AM to 7 PM daily, closed Wednesdays.
Höfer is an interesting artist and her huge photographs (these images are bigger than most walls) of these amazing Florentine interiors are windows to an inside world that not every person has easy access to - but work on a psychological level also.
