A couple of interesting Italian related art notes from the last few days. First, a museum in France, the Musée Départmental de l’Arles Antique, which is home to a bust of Julius Caesar that the French claim to have dated to 46 B.C., and:
"...is thought to be the only known surviving statue of Julius Caesar carved during his lifetime."
Also, there is a digital reproduction of Da Vinci's Last Supper in NY City that sounds pretty interesting.
