Florence can't seem to break out of this winter - the sun briefly appeared late this morning but it was just a tease, and even though the temperature was up a bit we had to put the heat back on this evening. This week it looks like things will finally warm up, with several days forecast to be above 70 degrees fahrenheit. The whole city is looking forward to it.
We also have a new book in the We're Reading section - the Gambero Rosso Italian Wines 2006. This is the first time this annual guide is being published in English I believe, and will shed even more light (and drive up prices probably!) on Italy's finest wines. I consult the Italian versions often in Boccadama - they are an amazing resource.
