Washington, November 12 - A Washington exhibition of recently restored stone masterpieces from Florence's Orsanmichele church has been extended due to huge demand.Visitors to the National Gallery of Art will now have until February 26 to admire the famed monumental sculptures by Lorenzo Ghiberti, Andrea del Verrocchio and Nanni di Banco.
The show, one of the highlights of the fall exhibition season in the American capital, was initially scheduled to close at the end of the year.
