The English translation "Square Meter of Infinity" maybe is not as metaphysical as "Metrocubo d'Infinito in un Cubo Specchiante" but either way, this is an interesting, captivating, and mysterious work by the Italian artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. On display in the courtyard of the Palazzo Strozzi (free admission to the cube) until January 23, 2011. And now also protected from rain (but maybe not from the type of deluge we had Sunday) by the Strozzi's new retractable "roof" (photo below).
