Wow. What a delicious bottle of wine. Beautiful ruby in the glass, no bricking. Very fruit forward, delicious notes of black cherries with a hint of citrus, and velvety smooth. Tastes like it could cost twice as much and you would still be impressed (I think I paid less than 15€). Started drinking it almost immediately after opening and it was perfect. I hunted this one down after reading about it (the 2001) on Professor Bainbridge's site - I agree with his asessment of the 2001 and perhaps the 2002 is even better. The fact that it is so ready to drink and seems light on the tannins would make me want to drink it now - don't know how long it will last in the cellar.
