Freya's Florence page on Facebook reminds me of the ice skating at the Parterre:
"From November 26, there is an ice skating rink at the Parterre, near Piazza della Libertà . The large rink holds up to 200 skaters and for those of you who forget your ice skates, you can rent them for 6 euros."
This is something my wife and children do every year... but I can't skate!!!
