When we got here 6 some years ago now, it snowed - I think on Christmas night. That was the first time it had snowed in Florence (from what we heard) in 18 or 20 years. The last two years, there were actually snow storms right around the same date - I think it was December 18th. Tonight, it is snowing again, and is actually forecast to be 8 inches of snow. This is practically unheard of around here, and would make it 3 winters in a row. Pretty amazing:
