Just back from a short vacation on Anegada - probably the last bit of relaxtion we will have until we are in the apartment in Florence (and Anegada is definitely a place to relax). An email this afternoon from Pallazo Antellesi confirms receipt of our deposit check. So first class U.S. mail from St. Thomas to Florence was 6 days, not bad. We are working on a letter to send to the school and will be going to the Italian consulate on Monday in Philadelphia to start the visa process.
